NOV 2014 – Madrid Protocol Expert Mission - ID

An expert´s mission to provide advice regarding accession to the Madrid Protocol –International Registration of Marks took place in Indonesia on 3-5 November 2014.

The training sessions were directed by the ECAP IP expert, and attended by IP officials from the DGIPR of Indonesia. The mission was organised in coordination with AANZFTA.

The training focused on specific requirements of the Office as part of its preparations for Madrid accession, the legal and technical aspects of Madrid Protocol and practiced on how to deal with Madrid Protocol processes in the TM Office acting as Office of Origin or Office of a Designated Contracting Party.
