NOV 2013 - Madrid Protocol Training - MM, KH

Expert missions to provide on-the-job training on the Madrid System – International Registration of Marks took place in Myanmar and Cambodia in November 2013.

These on-the-job training sessions were directed by experts from the IP Office of Singapore (IPOS), specialised in the management of Madrid system operations, and attended by IP officials from the National IP Offices of the participating countries.

The training focused on (a) basic features of the Madrid Protocol, (b) role of the Office as Office of Origin, (c) role of the Office as Office of a Designated Contracting Party, (d) conversion, transformation, replacement, and (e) use of relevant IT support tools.
