ECAP III Phase II implementing agency changes its name to EUIPO

 

 

On 23 March 2016, the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM), implementing agency of ECAP III Phase II, has officially changed its name to European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), as established in the EU Trade Mark Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2015/2424 of the European Parliament and the Council).

 

According to the same Regulation, one of the two unitary intellectual property rights administered by the Office, the Community Trade Mark (CTM), has also officially changed its name to European Union Trade Mark (EUTM).
