AUG 2013 - Best Practices on Quality Management - BN, KH, MY

The second mission regarding Best Practices on Quality Management at IP Offices took place during the third and fourth weeks of August 2013.  During this mission, two EUIPO experts visited the IP Offices of Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia and Malaysia.

The participating ASEAN IP offices and EUIPO have shared information on quality standard processes that they currently apply. Trade mark and industrial design processes were mapped with a focus on process simplification and quality control. An expert report with recommendations for improvement will be prepared and presented to each individual country.

A Consultation meeting will take place by the end of 2013, when quality experts and the IP Offices will be able to discuss the reports and the recommendations set out for implementation at the national level.
