Regional Workshop on The Hague System

A Regional Workshop on The Hague System for the International Registration of Industrial Designs for ASEAN Member States took place in Singapore on 26-27 March 2014. This workshop was jointly organised by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) with the support of the ECAP project.

The workshop was conducted by experts from WIPO and EUIPO and attended by senior officials in charge of industrial designs and the accession of their respective countries to the Hague Agreement.

During the two-day meeting, the workshop provided for a platform to share information and experiences on the accession process as well as to discuss issues that each AMS was facing during the preparatory work for the actual implementation of the Geneva Act, looking at possible solutions and best practices among AMS.
