First ASEAN-EUIPO Heads of IP Offices Meeting

The First ASEAN-EUIPO Heads of IP Offices Meeting was held in Madrid and Alicante, Spain, from 26 to 28 May 2014.

The first day the meeting took place at the headquarters of the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (OEPM) in Madrid and hosted by its General Director, Mrs Patricia García-Escudero, while the following days the meeting was held at EUIPO in Alicante.

The Heads of the IP Offices of the ten ASEAN countries, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam, together with representatives of the ASEAN Secretariat and the European Commission met with EUIPO Executive Director and adopted a joint summary of the meeting.
