SEPT 2013 - Madrid Protocol Training - MY

An expert´s mission to provide on-the-job training on the Madrid System – International Registration of Marks took place in Malaysia in September 2013.

The on-the-job training sessions were directed by a Madrid Protocol expert from IP Australia, and attended by IP officials from the Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia.

The training focused on (a) basic features of the Madrid Protocol, (b) role of the Office as Office of Origin, (c) role of the Office as Office of a Designated Contracting Party, (d) conversion, transformation, replacement, and (e) use of relevant IT support tools.
