SEPT 2013 - Best Practices on Quality Management - PH, SG, LA

The third mission regarding Best Practices on Quality Management at IP Offices took place during the third and fourth weeks of September 2013.  During this mission, one EUIPO expert together with the ECAP III Project Leader visited the IP Offices of the Philippines, Singapore and Lao PDR.

The participating ASEAN IP offices and EUIPO shared information on quality standard processes that they currently apply. Trade mark and industrial design processes were mapped with a focus on process simplification and quality control. An expert report with recommendations for improvement will be prepared and presented to each individual country.

A Consultation meeting will take place by the end of 2013, where the quality experts and the IP Offices will be able to discuss the reports and the recommendations set out for implementation at the national level.
