OCT 2014 – National Open Seminar TMs & IDs - PH

A national open seminar on trademarks and designs took place in Manila, Philippines, on 16 and 17 October 2014. This event focused on providing information to relevant stakeholders (including SMEs, legal advisors, etc.) about how to obtain legal protection for their IP assets at the international level in various jurisdictions by using a combination of national, regional and international protection systems.

The seminar, held at IPOPHL premises, addressed IP protection within the Philippines and in the export markets through the Madrid Protocol, the Hague Agreement, the EU Community Trademark and the EU Registered Community Design. Specific topics regarding Trademark and Design Information and Management Tools were also introduced.
