OCT 2013 - Best Practices on IPR Enforcement - SG, LA, KH, BN, ID

The second expert mission regarding Best Practices on IPR Enforcement took place in October 2013. During this mission, one enforcement expert visited Singapore, Lao PDR, Cambodia, Brunei Darussalam and Indonesia.

The expert carried out field work in accordance with the programmes prepared by the ECAP National coordinators of the participating countries. Consultation meetings were held with the IP Offices and several IPR enforcement agencies.

The enforcement expert gathered information on the current situation, needs and expectations concerning IPR enforcement in each country, together with suggestions concerning the preparation of draft guidelines or materials on IPR enforcement that could be proposed at the ASEAN regional level and those concerning a plan to foster IPR enforcement interagency coordination within ASEAN.
