MAR 2015 - Expert Mission Madrid Protocol Operations–VN

An expert mission concerning Madrid Protocol operations and IT related topics took place in Hanoi, Vietnam, from 23 to 25 March 2015. The mission was organised in cooperation with the ASEAN-Australia-New Zealand Free Trade Agreement (AANZFTA) project and was attended by NOIP Madrid Protocol and IT officials.

The ECAP IP expert together with an EUIPO IT expert and an ECAP IT expert introduced topics concerning the structure of Madrid operations, NOIP as Office of Origin and as Designated Contracting Party. Madrid and IT officers from NOIP introduced the NOIP IT systems, including the systems used to process Madrid files, IT tools used in Madrid operations and other relevant IT tools by the Office. The training provided for open discussions on these topics and the next steps towards operations and systems optimisations.
