Second Meeting of the Project Steering Committee

The Second Meeting of the Project Steering Committee (PSC) was held in Siem Reap, Cambodia, on 25 February 2014, back to back with the 43th session of the ASEAN Working Group on Intellectual Property Cooperation (AWGIPC).

At this meeting, the PSC, the body responsible to oversee and validate the overall direction and policy of the project, adopted the ECAP III Phase II Annual Work Plan (AWP) 2014 and approved the project Activity Report 2013, prepared by the Project Management Team (PMT). The AWP 2014 comprises a total of 17 key activities to be implemented across the ASEAN region between March 2014 and February 2015. 

The PSC meeting was co-chaired by Simon Seow of IPOS, Singapore, Chair of the ASEAN Working Group on IP Cooperation (AWGIPC), on behalf of ASEAN and Mr Antonio Berenguer, Head of Trade and Economic Section, EU Delegation in Bangkok, on behalf of the European Union. The meeting was attended by representatives of the ten ASEAN Member States, the ASEAN Secretariat, the European Union Delegation in Bangkok and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) in its capacity as project implementing agency.
