ASEAN Regional Design Workshop

An ASEAN Regional Designs Workshop took place in Bali, Indonesia, from 25 to 27 January 2016. The training was attended by senior design examiners from the ASEAN IP Offices together with a representative of the ASEAN Secretariat.

This activity aimed at providing specialised training to officials from the ASEAN IP Offices concerning the examination and registration of industrial designs, with a focus on the ASEAN Common Guidelines for the Examination and Registration of Industrial Designs, prepared by the ASEAN countries in the course of 2015.

The workshop was conducted by one EUIPO expert, the ECAP III Project Leader and the project IP expert. The three-day training included group exercises during which real examples were examined and the participants engaged in practical activities.
