ASEAN IP Offices IT Consultation Meeting

An ASEAN IP Offices IT Consultation Meeting was held in Jakarta, Indonesia, from 23 to 25 April 2014. The meeting was attended by senior IT experts from the ASEAN IP Offices and EUIPO together with two members of the ECAP Project Management Team.

The meeting provided a platform to facilitate and promote the exchange of information among the ASEAN IP Offices regarding their IT systems and plans as well as to identify further steps towards the development of management and information tools that they could use in common.

The meeting addressed, among others, the following topics: ASEAN IP Offices IT inventories, IT architecture and security, ASEAN languages, common data dictionaries and service catalogues, business requirements (trademarks, designs), ASEAN TMview, ASEAN Designview and ASEAN TMclass.
